They are planning to clear the path to remove a few more key members. This is being done in order to kick-start a rebuilding phase for the team. McCaffrey is one of the lone bright spots for the Panthers, who lost four out of five games they played this season. They earlier pinned hopes on the 26-year-old youngster and top QB Baker Mayfield this season.
Why did the Panthers fire Matt Rhule?
The Carolina Panthers parted ways with their head coach because of a disappointing run so far in the new season. Sunday’s 37-15 home loss against the 49ers accelerated the process of an exit. Earlier, Rhule came into the team to do his job for a long period. The second wealthiest owner in the NFL, David Tepper, offered a $62 million contract to the HC. The 47-year-old thus got into the big league with a seven-year contract.

But after three years, the team won 11 games and lost 27 out of 38, which made his path crucial. As a result, the team and the coach parted ways, with four years left. However, Carolina Panthers will look for a revival of fortunes as they meet the Rams next week. QB Baker Mayfield and Co. will have to play more aggressive football to revive their campaign and keep playoff hopes alive.

What can Christian McCaffrey offer to the Bills?
The Bills are keen to end their Super Bowl drought. This year, they have a better chance but need more weapons. So, the idea is to pair McCaffrey with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davies. Because it would give Josh Allen more options and it can speed up the pairing game.
