This year, the original Black Ops game completed 10 years. Treyarch put out a video remembering the same on May 18 2020. Instead of taking it as a simple celebratory video, fans obviously went around looking for clues regarding the next title. The suspicions and leaks look more legitimate now that Treyarch has posted two more videos in the last two days. The videos talk about how it is to work in engineering and the Art & Animation department at Treyarch.
These seem like simple videos at first but when some users got a closer look at them, things fell in place. People noticed a clip in the background of these videos from CoD World War 2. This could mean that Treyarch & Raven working in collaboration with Sledgehammer Games for the new title. The resurfacing of the World War 2 clip could also mean that they are looking to develop the game around the next set of military tensions the US had post World War 2, which is the Cold War or the Vietnam War.
In any case, these are still just speculations and rumors. We cannot say anything for certain till Treyarch makes any kind of official announcement regarding the same. But, since the game has already been delayed, we may soon at least see an announcement of this year?s title.
