Aside from action on the track, the F1 teams love getting some action off it as well. With the emergence of Twitter, teams often engage in a bit of banter with each other. But sometimes, they troll their own drivers, as evidenced by the Renault F1 team.

As it turned out, Nico Hulkenberg asked his fans on Twitter to suggest designs for his 2019 lid. That was when Renault could not resist pressing that itchy Twitter finger and trolling the German.
