Riot Games’ Valorant has wowed fans since its release in June. The 5v5 FPS has established itself as one of the leading games in its genre. For instance, it brought something entirely new to the table by introducing characters with unique abilities. Now, it has over 12 different ‘Agents’ in its roster. Recently, some changes made to one agent have pointed towards the arrival of a new healer.
Sage is currently the game’s only healer. While agents like Reyna and Phoenix can heal themselves, Sage is the only agent capable of healing and resurrecting fellow teammates. This makes her a little overpowered. This was one of the reasons for the recent nerf that she received. But there may be another reason behind her nerf, which is the possible introduction of a new healer.

Riot’s proactiveness in addressing player complaints has been commendable. They have responded to player concerns, bugs, hacker complaints, and other issues and are constantly working to improve the game’s experience. The Anti-cheat head Arkem even urged players to report more, so the team can ensure they look into it and fix the issue. The developers also recently found a game-breaking bug related to agent Omen. As a result, he has been temporarily disabled and will be made available as soon as the issue is fixed.
This is a great sign for a game that was released just months ago. Valorant is well on its way to becoming the next big esport, thanks to its popularity and the constant support of the developers, who ensure that players have a smooth experience.
