“Really Respect That”: Iga Swiatek Admires Naomi Osaka’s Fashion Sense and Projects

Polish teenager Iga Swiatek is in the limelight again. With the French Open soon about to begin, and herself being the defending champion, there will be expectations from the youngster. She has performed exceedingly well in the recent tournaments. These results she has obtained do make her a possible contender to defend her title. 

Not long ago, Iga Swiatek was part of an interview, in which she spoke on fashion. She praised Naomi Osaka for being innovative with her outfits. At the same time, she felt the need to work on her fashion sense. Swiatek had to wear a dress for the photoshoot after she won the French Open last year and she was happy with her choice. 

The 19-year-old player spoke on this topic and stated, “The thing is I don’t have a lot of knowledge on fashion. When I see Naomi doing all the projects, I really respect that because that part of life I don’t have much knowledge about. I had some great choices like the dress I wore after winning the French Open for the trophy photoshoot, which was a good choice. Well, I still got to improve on that.”

Naomi Osaka’s endorsements are superior to others

Speaking about Naomi Osaka, she has bagged some of the top luxury brands in the world. She has become the face of Louis Vuitton, Tag Heuer, and Levis to name a few. Due to her activities on the court and off it, she is one of the highest-paid female athletes. 

Reflecting on tennis, Naomi Osaka won her fourth Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this year. After that, she has not performed according to her usual standards and has registered poor results in the recent clay-court events. 

Iga Swiatek is moving in the right direction as French Open 2021 approaches

On the other hand, Iga Swiatek did not kick start her season on the best possible note. However, as the clay-court season began, her performances have been spectacular. Recently, she won the Italian Open in ruthless fashion, winning the match 6-0 6-0. 

Both Naomi and Iga are young stars of the game. They are highly talented players and will just get better with time. All eyes will be on them when they step on the courts at Roland Garros.
