Rafael Nadal, for those who do not know, is not a married man yet. Some might call him the most eligible bachelor out there. Good looking, ton of success and wealth, and an aura of reverence where ever he goes- despite all this, Rafael Nadal, at the age of 32, has avoided becoming a “Family Guy”.

Nadal spoke out when asked about this, and said that the second chapter of his life can wait until he retires. Currently he wants to focus on his career, and have no distractions, and at the same time he does not want anything else to interfere between him and his family, when he decides to have one.

“I have a girlfriend too and I am not alone to take decisions”, said Rafael Nadal. “You have to suit situations you know”, he continued. “Having family? I don’t know, things are not easy to be predicted”, he said. “At this age, I thought that I would have already been a former player and that I would have started a family”, he added.

Rafael Nadal does have a girlfriend, with whom he has been spotted since 2005, named Xisca Perello. She is the project director of the

Rafael Nadal Foundation, and is often seen travelling with Nadal to watch his matches. “As a young guy, I thought that at 30 I would already have retired and instead I am still here”, said Nadal. “The only thing I know is that I will have a family. I will not definitely be alone”, said Rafa.
Rafael Nadal, who has enjoyed more time off the season than any of the top players, because of his injury related issues, said that he enjoys his time off-the-court, but there is still some time left for him to enter into a comfortable settled life. “I am happy being at home”, said Rafael Nadal. “Being with the friends, being with the family, playing some golf, being out with the boat”, he continued. “I enjoy life outside of the Tour, but I really know that this kind of life can wait”, said Rafael Nadal.
