How does Quick Resume Work?
The brand new Xbox uses velocity architecture to improve hardware and software coordination. This has completely changed the usage of SSD, i.e. Solid-state Drive. In simple words, RAM does not store the game data, but the SSD does. This has enabled users to switch between games at any exact moment without losing a single second of progress. Most users play three or four games in a month. These include a wide range made up of Battle Royales, Sports and Simulation, and others.

Quick Resume might feel like a small addition, but it is much more than that. On average, Quick Resume can take 6.5 seconds to switch between two games which is quite incredible. The number of games that can be stored is completely based on the game size. However, Microsoft confirmed that this feature is built to store multiple games at a time.
Surprisingly, Quick Resume even works after the user has plugged out their console. This is all thanks to the SSD, and players can switch off their console and continue from the very exact moment even after a break of three or four weeks.
