PUBG: Collaborations
This will not be the first time PUBG will partner with BLACKPINK for an event. In September 2020, PUBG Mobile saw a crossover between the two, which left fans extremely happy. The battle royale game had a two-week event offering “support points” to players who complete the in-game challenges. The highlight of the event was the Killer Cadet Set and the Adorable Panda Suit outfits available as rewards.

Although, the event was not the first appearance of BLACKPINK in the game. The band’s popular song “Playing with Fire” was a part of the game in July 2020.
Battlegrounds was not far behind. Partnership with Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min was one of the most highly decorated collaborations. The event also saw players competing for a signed level 3 helmet and something similar could be part of the BLACKPINK event as well.

BLACKPINK & Krafton
BLACKPINK is a South Korean pop girl group formed by YG Entertainment. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are the four members. The band makes a name for itself because of its peppy music and vast audience. They were also the first K-pop female band to reach 1 Billion views on YouTube and were the first girl group from any country to feature on Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 list.
As PUBG’s developer, Krafton, hails from South Korea as well. The collaboration would see one of the biggest game developers and leading music artists join forces.
