As of now, it looks like the latest member of the PlayStation family has taken the lead in the console race. The current best-selling title on the PlayStation 5 is the Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This is hardly surprising as we expected this from the successor to the PS4 Spiderman title. Spider-Man: Miles Morales has already sold over 18,640 copies in Japan.

As for the games that are leading the sales charts, we have already mentioned Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Close behind Miles is the Demon’s Souls reboot title. While Miles Morales has sold 18,640 copies, Demon’s Souls has sold 18, 607 copies sold, according to Famitsu.

The website also pointed out that the Xbox consoles are facing a shortage of supply in Japan right now. Apparently, Xbox is having to hold lottery sales for the Series X and the Series S to deal with this shortage. However, we can hope for an increase in supplies soon, with the holiday sales right around the corner.
