The all-new Sony PlayStation 5 has set the stage for marking a new era in gaming with its insane hardware. The PS5 launch has already given us an idea as to what to expect from this mean machine. Along with that, there is a roster of amazing games lined up. Let’s take a look at some of the PS5 games to look out for.
Resident Evil: Village
This horror/adventure series from Capcom is all set to feature its 8th title on the PS5 console. The official Playstation Twitter handle posted a trailer of Resident Evil: Village an hour ago.

Well, looks like this book can be judged by its cover. Set to release in 2021, Resident Evil: Village seems to be a terrifying installment to the much acclaimed RE series.
A notable point would be the change from the usual tone and setting of Resident Evil games. Unlike the other titles in the series, this one has a more classical horror feel to it (At least the trailer suggests so). Also, there has been a shift in POV. This one, unlike the other RE titles, is in first-person.
The trailer looks promising, and the first-person POV of gameplay can hit the mark for a horror title such as this.

Horizon: Forbidden West
The expected release dates of this Horizon: Zero Dawn sequel is unknown as of now. Developed by Guerrilla Games, Horizon: Forbidden West looks beautiful with insane graphics thanks to the powerful hardware support of PS5.
Like the first installment, Horizon: Forbidden West features a vast open-world, this time set in a post-apocalyptic San Fransisco.

Deathloop
Developed by Bethseda, Deathloop has to be one of the craziest trailers presented at the PS5 launching event.
Colt, an assassin, is stuck in a time loop. He wakes up on a beach and learns that he has to take out 8 targets before midnight to break out of this loop. If he fails, the loop resets itself. But there is another assassin, Julianne, whose job is to protect the time loop from collapsing and to take out Colt.
Here’s the best part: The players play as Colt, and Julianne is a computer-controlled opponent. But, if they choose, the players can opt for a multiplayer mode where they can play as Julianne and enter other players’ matches and try to stop them from winning (which is what Julianne’s job is, to stop Colt).
Deathloop was first announced at E3 2019 and is expected to release towards the end of this year on PS5 and Windows.
Spiderman: Miles Morales
The PS4 Spiderman game went on to become one of the best superhero games ever made, gathering favorable comparison to the Batman: Arkham series and became the fastest-selling superhero game in America.
Spiderman: Miles Morales is an extension to the 2018 PS4 Spiderman. Of course, this title has a lot to live up to, as Miles Morales as a character gained huge popularity after the 2018 film, Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. But judging by the trailer, we think the game will fulfill the great responsibility that has come with great power.
Godfall
Now, this is a title that even the developers are excited about. Keith Lee, the CEO of Counterplay Games (the studio where Godfall is in development) posted on the official PS5 blog saying,
“Today has been an exciting day for the whole team at Counterplay Games. We have been hard at work on our upcoming PlayStation 5 title, Godfall, and are ecstatic to have everyone see the first official PS5 gameplay at The Future of Gaming digital event.”

Godfall is a hack-and-slash RPG. The player has to play as the last of the Valorian knights, who are god-like warriors. The players have to tear through numerous foes until they challenge the mad-god Macros, who awaits them at the top.
The trailer looks quite promising as a classic hack-and-slash title, and the graphics are simply insane.
