Innovation in gaming hardware and software is higher than ever before. This has given birth not just to better consoles or PC builds, but also next-gen games. Most of the games launched with the new consoles by Sony and Microsoft have tried to utilize the performance enhancement the hardware has to offer. One of these is the upcoming game from the Project CARS series.

Slightly Mad Studios (SMS) is the British studio that has released three racing games under the Project CARS series. The latest one, Project CARS 3, came out in August 2020. The studio aimed to present it as the spiritual successor to Need For Speed: Shift. While it has been only a few months since the game released, CEO of SMS, Ian Bell, already has plans for the next title.

Codemasters, the studio behind the Formula One series recently acquired SMS. Pending a deal with EA, the studio has major support for its upcoming titles. Therefore, Bell is confident that their next project is going to be massive. A while ago, Bell published a couple of tweets where he shared a few details about Project CARS 4.

Although Bell deleted the tweets, screenshots of his statement had already surfaced on the internet.
