Mentioning how Jake Gyllenhaal has not bulked up for his role in the movie and has in fact cut down his weight from 205 lbs to 184 lbs, ATHLEAN-X talked about his forearm workout. He questioned, “Is doing forearm work beneficial to you and your workouts? Cause again I want to utilize these videos to Showcase what’s being done in Hollywood.”

ATHLEAN-X explained that Hollywood has always had the power to manipulate people into wanting to copy its stars’ workout routines in the hope of being able to look like them. He stated, “That doesn’t usually work all the time for everyone that wants to copy these workouts but could you pull the elements and make them work for you Dam well should be doing some forearm work if you want to plug the energy leaks in the rest of your training.”

While Gyllenhaal went through a massive transformation for his role in the movie Road House, another thing that scared the 43-year-old actor before he started actively filming for the movie was the presence of a certain someone in the same. That happened to be none other than Conor McGregor. Jake Gyllenhaal went on to share his thoughts about sharing the screen with the Irish UFC champion.
