Manchester City fans’ head counters Guardiola

Kevin Parker, who is the general secretary of the Man City Supporters’ Club, has retaliated to Guardiola’s statement.

“Supporters will say, well, that doesn’t affect Manchester United or Liverpool in the same way. I think the reality is I think our supporter base is different. We’re more hardcore, we’re more local. We certainly don’t have 3,000 or 4,000 tourists turning up for every game which Man Utd and Liverpool will have to accept they do have those sorts of supporters.”

United and Liverpool have a larger fan base because of the historical success the clubs have enjoyed. They are some of the oldest clubs in the world and have enjoyed unparalleled success. On the other hand, City is a club that recently rose to prominence after a financial take-over.?But, Parker added that the supporters are good and are very passionate about the club.

“Our stadium is called the Etihad, and as a bit of football tribalism, it’s well known as Emptyhad. The reality is our support is very, very good,” said Parker.

Their famous Poznan celebration is incredible as they stand with their backs faced to the ground and jump with joy. Likewise, they are some of the most passionate fans as well.
