On Friday, March 21, Miller passed away calmly in sleep on a family trip in Costa Rica—the Judicial Investigation Agency of Costa Rica released Monday, March 24, the preliminary cause of death. “after a possible intoxication after apparently ingesting some food,” an official with Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency told NBC News. Officials are awaiting an autopsy and a toxicology study; the cause of death is tentative, he also further stated.
