Portland Trail Blazers starter Rodney Hood suffered one of the most dreaded injuries during the game against Los Angeles Lakers.
Hood went down during the game, holding his heel after taking down a rebound. The medical staff and players from both the sides surrounded him with a growing concern. The 27-year old seemed in severe pain as he walked straight into the locker room a few moments later.
Hood had already tweaked his Achillies Tendon in his left foot during their previous game against Sacramento Kings.

Feel so bad for Rodney Hood. Was having a great season and I’ve never seen him happier and more talkative inside the locker room. He was finally in his comfort zone. Then this: a torn Achilles.
