Dave McCarthy, Corporate Vice President, Xbox Operations, recently published a statement on responsible gaming. The Xbox Wire article included a shared commitment by PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox on how they are constantly working to make gaming safer for the community.
The companies have focused on three principles to achieve this goal.
- Prevention: Empower players and parents to understand and control gaming experiences.
- Partnership: We commit to partnering with the industry, regulators, law enforcement, and our communities to advance user safety.
- Responsibility: We hold ourselves accountable for making our platforms as safe as possible for all players.
The industry breaking partnership comes for a great cause. Therefore, regardless of what side fans are on, they can definitely join these consoles and other companies trying to make gaming safe, especially for the vulnerable community.
