Jim Ryan has decided not to solve the puzzle of God of War: Ragnarok being cross-gen or not, just yet. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Sony PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan was asked whether God of War: Ragnarok will be a PS5 exclusive. He replied with a comment not everyone was hoping for: “Sorry. I’ve got nothing to say about that today.”
With the announcement of God of War: Ragnarok being released next year. The question of it being next-gen exclusive or cross-gen for both PS4 and PS5 remains an unsolved mystery for players. Sony announced the game last September during a PS5 showcase livestream. As a result, everyone expected it to be a next-gen exclusive. Although, Sony doesn’t seem eager to clarify everyone’s doubts on this.

Other PlayStation exclusives
With the top end PS5, improved graphics and faster loading times are more obvious than ever. It is safe to assume God of War Ragnarok will deliver an exceptional gaming experience.
While the fans are still speculating if God of War: Ragnarok will be cross or next-gen, Sony has already declared that games like Horizon Forbidden and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are cross-gen exclusives.

Most expected Spider Man: Miles Morales to also be a PS5 exclusive, but later it was announced to be a cross-gen exclusive. Moreover, Sony also confirmed that Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be cross-gen exclusive.

Of course, it won’t be long enough till we get a confirmation from Sony about the upcoming God of War. If the game is exclusive only to PlayStation 5, it will surely break a lot of hearts; however, the game will surely create an enormous impact on the gaming community in 2021, just as its predecessor.
