The 2020 delay fest for much-awaited games struck Deathloop a couple of months ago. The game was first revealed at the PlayStation 5 reveal event, and it looked extremely promising. The delay disappointed fans all across as they expected the game to be a launch release.

Arkane Lyon later posted a notice about the imminent delay of the game. They announced that the launch date will be pushed back to the second quarter of 2021.

Deathloop was not the only game to be struck with this misfortune. Xbox fans were equally dismayed at the delay of Halo Infinite earlier this year.

Nonetheless, expectant fans now have something to look forward to. Deathloop has finally got a trailer and a launch date. The trailer is a short one, and probably the only exciting part about it is the launch date reveal. The game will still release for both PS5 and PC.

The title from Bethesda is going to be an exclusive on PlayStation 5 for an entire year. Therefore, Xbox patrons can expect the game to release on Microsoft’s platforms by the second quarter of 2022. It will release for both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

The pre-orders for the game have already started, and it is advisable to get it to avail some additional bonuses.

The official launch date for Deathloop is 21 May 2020. Also, watch the trailer below.
