PlayStation 5 is slated for release soon and the gaming community could not be more excited. The question most would have in mind is when they could get their hands on the new Sony product. Senior Marketing Executive, Eric Lempel, assured everyone that the company would let the community know, soon enough. The PlayStation 5 is the next-generation console lined up by Sony. It will be launched in two variants- an all-digital version or a variant with an optical disc drive.

The recent DualSense controller review gave us a few revelations. In the very same segment, Eric Lempel was asked about the rumors surrounding PS5’s pre-orders. Lempel came up with a simple reply stating,

“I got a message from someone saying people are lining up and we had no idea why. So, I think it’s safe to say to all of the viewers, we’ll let you know when pre-orders will happen. It’s not gonna happen with a minute’s notice. We’re going to at some point let you know when you can preorder a PlayStation 5.”

The new adaptive triggers will immerse players completely into the game. Long gone are the days when a controller only had limited responses while gaming. Also, the new DualSense comes with an in-built speaker and microphone; more to add to that immersive experience.

Sony is looking forward to making the best use of the new tech. DualSense will undoubtedly work on par with the next-gen games.

One thing we can expect is the differentiating factor from the PS4 UI. A new dark mode and a faster interface would do well for users.
