Henrikh Hamlet Mkhitaryan plays professional club football for the English giants, Manchester United, and is currently the skipper of his national team, Armenia. He is arguably the greatest player that Armenia has ever seen and the first Armenian ever to play in the EPL.

He was born to Marina and Hamlet Mkhitaryan in 1989 in the Yerevan city of Armenia. His father was a professional footballer and played for FC Ararat Yerevan as a striker, but unfortunately, died due to brain tumor at the age of 33. A few people say that his playing style resembles that of his father. Henrikh’s mother, Marina, is currently working in the Armenian Football Federation as the head of national teams department and his elder sister, Monica, works at the UEFA headquarters. Mkhitaryan is fluent in six languages namely Armenian, Russian, French, English, German, Portuguese and he also has a degree in Economics and has graduated from the St. Petersburg institute. After retiring from football, he plans to pursue a carrier in his academics.
