Shaun White and Nina Dobrev are enjoying some vacation time on yet another trip. Ever since Shaun retired, he has taken it upon himself to travel to as many places as possible. Back when he was an athlete, he mostly traveled for training and tournaments. However, on a much-deserved break now, he is traveling for leisure, along with his partner in crime.

Currently, Shaun White and Nina Dobrev are in Costa Rica. Flying there on a private jet, Nina took to Instagram to share some beautiful shots from their time together.

Previously, Shaun White had posted a picture of him in a “Hakuna Matata” t-shirt, symbolic of post-retirement life, one with ‘no worries’. Clearly, White is taking retirement in a good way, doing all the things he missed out on throughout his career.

Like Shaun, Nina, too, took to Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of their time in Costa Rica. Notably, the couple is spotted at a luxurious resort; Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection.

The resort is set among the luscious Costa Rican mountains and provides its occupants with some breathtaking views. Nina captioned the post, “Pura Vida.”

Pura Vida is a Costa Rican term that means living life to the fullest. It’s an expression of happiness and optimism.

White also added a comment on the same post. “Costa Rica looks good on you😍,” said Shaun.

It’s party time for White

Shaun had already revealed earlier that he will be taking a lot of vacations post-retirement. This is because, during his career, he did not have the luxury to move about like this. Always focused on the next competition, the next performance, and fighting hard for the next gold medal, White can now take some time out to relax.

Before Costa Rica, White had been to Las Vegas with Nina Dobrev. Notably, that’s where their travel diaries began at. However, only just getting started, where do you think the power couple will be off to next?
