The ex- Manchester United and England defender Phil Neville has been appointed as the Assistant Manager for the Spanish side Valencia. He would be assisting the present Manager Nuno Santo as Ian Cathro, the previous Assistant Manager decided to leave the club. Ian Cathro, the Scotsman, is expected to join Newcastle FC.
He was previously a pundit at BBC, before he was chosen for this role by the La Liga team. A decent explanation of the situation might be the fact that the owner of Valencia, Peter Lim is also a 50% stake owner of Salford City team, which is famous for being owned by the famous “Class of 92′ “.
