During the BMW Championship, Rory McIlroy revealed what made him fall in love with golf. The four-time major championship winner said he was hooked to golf from a very young age. Rory watched the PGA Tour rounds on Saturday and Sunday at night and then go to bed. Furthermore, he used to go out the next day and practice trying to get better by improving his skills.
McIlroy said this was all from an early age. “Yeah, I mean, I would say from what I can remember, 7,8,9 years old,” said Rory. Moreover, he then revealed that inspiring moment. “I remember Tiger winning the U.S. Amateur. I remember watching that. Even before he turned pro, I was loving watching that and playing and practicing and trying to get better.”
