Teams that made the cut at Zurich Classic 2021 received special introductions during their tee-off on Saturday. Cameron Smith and his compatriot Marc Leishman stole the show with ‘Mullet Song’ as their walk-up music! 

Cameron Smith and his mullet have been the talk of the town for quite some time. In fact, he’s also been credited with having the best mullet on the PGA Tour of late, and he paid tribute to it at the Zurich Classic 2021.

All the qualifying teams had a choice to pick their walk-up song before their Round 3 tee off on Saturday. It was no surprise when Smith and Leishman walked out to Jay Powell’s Mulltet Song on the first tee. 

The Australian duo grabbed everyone’s attention with their cheerful walk-up. While Cameron Smith sported his mullet, his teammate Marc Leishman also matched his look with a fantastic hairdo. 

Smith and Leishman walked out to a wonderful reception as the fans were thrilled to see Leishman coming out with a mullet as well. The duo smiled their way onto the first tee and quickly got back to business for Round 3.

Leishman was the one keen on walking out to the Mullet Song 

Cameron Smith was taken aback by Leishman’s request for the walk-off song. Apparently, Leishman had searched for mullet songs and Jay Powell’s famous number appeared on top of all results. The rest is history. 

“You got to try and make it fun and embrace it and I think we’ll do that and yeah try and enjoy ourselves, get the day started off on the right foot and go from there,” Leishman said

Marc Leishman locked in on the ‘Mullet Song’ as soon as he heard about the walk-up music introduction. The 37-year-old wanted to follow the trend and he completely nailed the look as well! 

“He’s already entered it. I didn’t even get a choice,” Smith mentioned. “We’re going to be rocking that going to the first tee.”

Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman are indeed an exciting team to watch. They get along so well on and off the course and it is reflecting well in their performance. The duo is currently in a Top 10 position on the leaderboard at the Zurich Classic and has a chance at contending for the title!
