His first PGA Tour victory came in 2017 at the John Deere Classic. It also earned him a spot on the field for the Open Championship. A year later, in 2018, the young golfer picked up a sensational win at the Memorial Tournament. He further went on to pick up two more wins on the PGA Tour before the year ended. Besides Woods and Nicklaus, DeChambeau became the only golfer to claim the U.S. Amateur, NCAA Division 1 Championship, and three PGA Tour wins by the age of 25.

The golfer bulked up dramatically in the coming months to improve his swing speed and hit the ball even farther. In July of 2020, he picked up his sixth PGA Tour win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, Michigan. In total, the golfer claimed eight trophies on the big Tour before defecting to LIV.
