Not everybody has the capacity to knock out two of the game’s towering players in one day. But Scheffler made light work of both Ian Poulter and Jon Rahm in subsequent rounds and was happy with his effort.
“Pretty good. First match play tournament, so being able to take down those two guys last two matches and Xander in the final match on Friday, like I said before, I think my game’s trending in the right direction this week and I’m looking forward to getting some rest and get back out on the course tomorrow,” Scheffler expressed.

I’m not sure if that match is finished. Kuchar? So another great opponent in the morning and looking forward to getting on the course with him,” Scheffler said when asked about his chances.
