In every sport, there is arguably one player deemed the GOAT. Golf has Tiger Woods, while basketball has Michael Jordan. Though their areas of expertise are nothing alike, both icons have often been linked together. Jordan, famous for his illustrious basketball career, has always loved golf. As for Woods, he recently spoke about the Chicago Bulls icon during an appearance on Golf Digest’s “A Round with Tiger: Celebrity Playing Lessons – David Spade.”

Does Tiger Woods prefer David Spade over Michael Jordan?

In a YouTube video uploaded by Golf Digest, Woods takes Spade around the Rolling Hills Country Club. Both celebrities discuss countless topics, with the 57-year-old actor often questioning Woods. Almost halfway into the video, Spade asks Woods about playing with Jordan – making him choose the better player between him and MJ.

“You ever play Michael Jordan?” Spade asked Woods, meaning if he has ever played against him. Spade then asked the 18-time World Golf Championships winner who plays better. “I would say you,” Woods replied, to which Spade laughed and explained to him the context of the question. Spade actually asked Woods if Jordan plays better than him!

Before Woods’ car crash in February, he was shooting in LA for the Golf Digest series, teaching celebrities like Dwyane Wade and Spade how to golf. “Golf lesson with this guy today. And you know what? He’s not bad… He picks things up very quickly. Good listener,” Spade had written in his Twitter post in February, even sharing a photo of the two of them together on the golf course.
