Tiger Woods is all set to make his comeback in a golf event at the PNC Championship. He will be teeing off with his son Charlie at this family event. Meanwhile, Tiger played the pro-am event yesterday with Charlie and had a great round of golf. He looked in good touch but still has a slight struggle while walking.
Tiger used a golf cart yesterday and tried to minimize the walking. However, he was still limping on a few holes, and hence Charlie teed off while Tiger came in with his irons and putting. So, even though many people want to see him back on the PGA Tour, it looks tough, as he isn’t ready to use a golf cart.

Tiger Woods refuses to take a golf cart to compete on the PGA Tour
After the pro-am event, Tiger Woods gave a press conference where a reporter asked him about applying for a golf cart on a PGA Tour event. Woods, without any hesitation, refused it. No, I wouldn’t. No, absolutely not. Not for a PGA Tour event. That’s just not who I am. That’s not how I have always been, and if I can’t play at the level, I can’t play at that level, said, Tiger.
Tiger elaborated on why he is using a cart at this event. He said PNC Championship is a fun and a different event. There are some players who are in their 80s like Lee Trevino and Gary Player. So if they don’t get golf carts, then we won’t be able to watch these legends compete. However, suddenly, he realized something about Gary Player.

So he laughed and corrected himself and said, “Gary’s different, never mind.” Tiger said Gary can sprint, do push-ups and pull-ups on the greens even at the age of 86. Meanwhile, Woods believes we won’t see these legends competing in this event if there were no golf carts. So since this is a casual event, Tiger doesn’t mind using a golf cart.
