The most iconic Tiger Woods’ moments from his career

1. Tiger Woods’ first Masters win

Tiger Woods came to the Masters with a poor record in his bag. Even after an awful start to the first round, Woods turned the game on its head and won the 1997 Masters with a record score of -18. Moreover, this was his first-ever major championship victory, which made it even more special.

The best thing that happened that day apart from his win was Tiger hugging his dad. He hugged his dad and became emotional as tears started to roll down from his eyes. Hence, Tiger always remembers this moment and also emphasized that this was probably the best moment of his life.

2. 2008 U.S. Open victory

Going into the 2008 U.S. Open, Tiger Woods was struggling with his knee. His doctor had advised him not to compete, as he believed the injury must exaggerate. However, Woods was adamant about competing and decided to participate in the event. Tiger overcame everything, including his broken leg in that event as he forced a playoff by making an incredible clutch putt on the 72nd hole.

He continued his form the next day in the playoffs and won the event finally on the 91st hole. Meanwhile, it was horrifying to even imagine playing 18 holes with a broken knee, but Tiger, with his determination, competed for 91 holes and eventually won his 14th major championship.

3. 2019 Masters victory

Tiger had faced plenty of atrocities from 2010. Moreover, the injuries made it even worse as they kept him away from golf. Meanwhile, experts and a few fans started to believe Tiger might never win another major. However, Woods quietened all his critiques and registered an incredible victory at Augusta for the first time after 14-years.
