There are a lot of golfers who compete on the PGA Tour. Patrick Reed is one of the more popular ones as he’s won several titles, including the 2018 Masters. Reed has been playing on the tour since 2013, and he recently revealed a list of his best friends on the professional circuit.
Patrick Reed turned pro in 2011 and joined the PGA Tour in 2013. He won his first title at the 2013 Wyndham Championship by beating Jordan Spieth in a playoff hole. Reed’s career picked up massively since then, but has he gained any valuable friendships on the PGA Tour?
“I talk to Webber [Webb Simpson] a lot, talk to Tiger quite a bit; Bubba and I are really close; D.J. and I talk when we’re at events. The list goes on and on. Funny thing is, the personalities of some of these guys couldn’t be more different— Tiger and D.J. are at two ends of the spectrum,” Reed recently told Golf Digest.

“But after golf, we can all hang out and treat each other as if we’re normal people, which is something most athletes wish was more widely known. Just because a person happens to be really good at a sport or craft, they’re probably still a normal human being who just wants to hang out and chill,” he added.
Patrick Reed has got a point there. While golf is not a sport that majorly embraces rivalries, fans should be aware that the players aren’t foes by birth. They’re just equally competitive athletes eying the big prize.
Who does Patrick Reed want to cast in a movie about his life?
Patrick Reed is not the most successful golfer ever. However, the 30-year-old has often proved his mettle on the big stage and his victories speak for themselves. Reed has also found himself caught amid controversies in his career.

Keeping all that in mind, Reed was asked which actor he’d like to cast if he was to make a movie about his life. A biopic, for that matter.
“Jack Nicholson, for sure. He’s so witty. With a lot of his characters, the first impression is uncertain. He looks serious, but then he starts cracking his smile and popping jokes left and right. “Something’s Gotta Give” is one of my favorites,” Reed expressed.
