Lee Trevino came into the limelight once again when everyone saw him advising Tiger Woods and his son at the 2021 PNC Championship. Trevino was famous for his ball-striking. Moreover, he was probably the best when it comes to short games skills. He has 29 PGA Tour victories and six major championship wins in his career. Furthermore, he is also a part of the World Golf Hall of Fame. 

Recently, Trevino competed at the 2021 PNC Championship in Florida. He still has got that incredible ball striking sound. Trevino competed in this event with his son as they finished -13 for the event. After the final round on Sunday, Lee said that he knows when Tiger Woods is going to make a comeback on the PGA Tour.

 Lee Trevino knows when is Tiger Woods coming back

After completing his round, Lee Trevino gave a press conference. And there, he said that he knows when will Tiger Woods play again. “You are not getting nothing from me,” said Trevino“I know when he’s going to play and when he’s not. He already told me all that stuff.”

This means that Tiger has already a schedule ready for himself, and he is trying to reach there. However, Lee did not reveal the exact tournament name or date on which he will be competing. Furthermore, he said that he and Tiger are good buddies, and he has known him since he was 8-years old.

When Tiger was asked about his playing schedule or plans, he said that it is still a long way away from it. Woods said he first needs to build the stamina to walk 72 holes as he won’t be applying for a cart. Moreover, he says his game still needs a bit of sharpening before competing against the best players on the PGA Tour.

But the above statement from Lee indicates that Tiger has a ready plan in his mind. It’s just that he wants to build the strength in his injured leg before coming back.
