Witnessing a Rory McIlroy masterclass is very rare these days. It is no secret that the Northern Irishman is enduring a form slump and the recent World Golf Ranking update proves the same as well. McIlroy has dropped down to an all-time low on the ranking for the first time in over a decade!

The PGA Tour saw Rory McIlroy dominate in the 2010s decade. Some fans might even call him the best player of that particular era. While that is a debate for another day, the brilliance of the golfer cannot be denied and he’s been incredibly consistent as well.

Speaking about consistency, Rory McIlroy has never dropped below the Top 15 of the Official World Golf Ranking since 2009. Right now, McIlroy has plummeted to the 15th spot on the rankings which is the lowest he’s ever been since the WGC-HSBC Champions tournament 12 years ago!
