Jon Rahm had an incredible start to his 2022 PGA Tour. But you got to feel for him. The World no.1 golfer beat the course record in round three and also the lowest score in PGA Tour history on Sunday. However, he still finished runners-up as Cameron Smith won the event with a score of -34. 

Nevertheless, even if he remained trophyless, the Spanish golfer went past an incredible milestone. Meanwhile, the Australian Cameron Smith won his fourth PGA Tour win and maintained his lead throughout the event. He obliterated the field while only Jon Rahm seemed to have troubled him a bit throughout the week.

Jon Rahm surpasses an incredible milestone

After finishing second in the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions, Jon Rahm received around $810,000 as prize money. Hence, this means the Spaniard has surpassed the $30 million mark in career earnings on the PGA Tour. Moreover, Rahm has taken only 109 PGA Tour events to accomplish this feat as a professional golfer.

Meanwhile, Rahm became the 44th player in the PGA Tour history to cross the $30 million mark in career earnings. He surpassed Bill Haas and Geoff Ogilvy on the all-time list. Meanwhile, Jon Rahm made around $7.7 million in the last season while $5.9 million in 2020.

Hence, if Jon continues to play the same way in this season, then he is surely getting his name up in the top earners on the PGA Tour. So according to the current estimation, he could be in the top 30 of all-time earners on the PGA Tour.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods leads the all-time earner’s list by a mile currently with $120,851,706 in total earnings. Furthermore, Phil Mickelson is in second place while Rory McIlroy is in sixth place, and Justin Thomas at 17th place in the all-time career earnings on the PGA Tour. Hence, Jon Rahm will be hopeful of reaching closer to these guys in another couple of years by playing some consistent golf.
