Where is “The Match 4” taking place in 2021?
The Reserve at Moonlight Basin, Big Sky, Montana, will host “The Match 4”. Jack Nicklaus designed this course in 2016 and it sits 7,500ft above sea level and stretches up to 8,000 yards. There are a lot of elevation changes on the course.
It also has a 777-yard par 5, 17th hole, the signature hole of this Jack Nicklaus design. And since there are a lot of elevations on the course, it will be fun watching the big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau in action.
What is the format of play?
Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson will compete against Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau in a match play format. The two sides will play 18 holes and will use a modified alternate-shot match-play scoring system. In an alternate-shot match play, a team can have both their players hit the tee shot, pick the best one, and alternate until they complete the hole.
