To be precise, Rory McIlroy won $1.458 million in prize money for his heroics at Quail Hollow Club. He is indeed deserving of the accolades, as the 32-year-old’s worked incredibly hard to get back to winning ways on the tour.

McIlroy’s career earnings update on the PGA Tour

Rory McIlroy won his third Wells Fargo Championship and his 19th tour title overall at the Quail Hollow Club on Sunday. The champion’s seven-figure payout massively boosted the Northern Irishman’s career earnings on the PGA Tour.

Right now, Rory McIlroy has earned a total of $56,368,517 on the PGA Tour. It includes all the prize money of all the events he won in his career, and the latest victory has helped him gain strides on the all-time list.
