The PGA Tour is incomplete until the champions compete at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. The rule is simple; You have to be the best in the business to be part of this competition as it only features winners of the PGA Tour from the previous year and the gold medalist at the Olympics.
The competition was set up to raise awareness and money for the local communities. Since moving to Maui in 1999, the Sentry Championship has raised more than $7.5 million for local charities. While the champions compete against each other, the spectators, volunteers, and sponsors get an opportunity to participate in many other events.
