While the 2022 PGA Tour season has got off to a quiet start, the Hero World Challenge is right around the corner to ignite proceedings. This is a special event hosted by Tiger Woods that annually takes place in the Bahamas. The field for this year is locked in, and the tee times, pairings are out as well.
The tournament begins December 2 and will end on the 5th, which is a Sunday. It will be hosted at the Albany Golf Course, a traditional par-72 course that will test the skills of the competing golfers.

The Hero World Challenge limits its field to 20 players and there are various qualification criteria. The field has been locked in for this year, and 2019 winner Henrik Stenson would enter as the defending champion as there was no tournament last year owing to the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pairings for the first round are out, and they are indeed mouthwatering! Justin Thomas and Brooks Koepka are paired together, while Jordan Spieth and Bryson DeChambeau will be playing partners in the first round. Here are the complete pairings and tee times for Round 1:

The weather report for the first round of the Hero World Challenge looks sunny and pleasant. The day’s high on December 2 will be 28°, and wind gusts are expected to blow at 10 mph.
