After round one of the 2021 PNC Championship, Henrik Stenson and his son Karl Stenson gave a post-round interview. And they asked the young Karl how did his dad perform today? “Eh, it was ok for both of us. None of us played pretty good. There’s always some room to improve on the weekend but… pretty fun.” replied Karl.

Previously Karl had said that given the form that his dad is in, it’s not going to be easy for them. So, the reporter asked, was this kind of what you expected? To which the 11-year-old replied, “Yeah, kind of.” However, Henrik came in and said he has improved on what Karl was expecting.

Furthermore, a reporter questioned him if he felt nervous at the first tee. And Karl immediately agreed and said, “Yeah, kind of it was a lot of people.” Also, he wasn’t entirely happy with his first tee shot. So the reporter asked him, you do hit a driver occasionally? and Karl agreed to that.

However, Henrik stepped in and said, “So did dad quite a few times! If you would have been out there, walked the ropes instead of standing here all day, you would have seen it,” said Stenson jokingly. So in this way, they stole the show with their witty answers, especially the 11-year-old Karl, who seems to have an incredible sense of humor.
