Collin Morikawa is one of the most promising young golfers on the PGA Tour. Notably, he has already bagged two major championships in his short career so far. Now, with five PGA Tours and four DP World Tour wins, he is en route to sheer greatness.

The last couple of years have been incredible for Morikawa. He has not only won events in the U.S. but also in Europe and Dubai. Like his professional life, his personal life has flourished equally. Morikawa recently got engaged to his girlfriend and the duo has been winning hearts on the internet with their adorableness.

Collin Morikawa had an excellent finish at the recent 2022 Genesis Invitational. He shot 65 on the final day and finished runner-up for the event. However, after completing his business as usual, Morikawa was seen clicking pictures of his fiancee and her friends near the media center.  

Dan Rapaport, a prominent golf writer, posted a picture of Collin as he handled the water bottles and clicked pictures. He tweeted the image and wrote, “Shoots 65 to finish second at Riviera. Still has to take pictures of his fiancee and her crew.” 

On the business end, Morikawa shot 65 on the final day and carded -17 for the event. He finished just two strokes behind the winner, Joaquin Niemann. Apart from a bogey at 3, he never lost control and carded five birdies and an eagle on the tough par 4, 10th hole. But a slow start cost him the event as Niemann was unstoppable in the first two rounds.

Notably, he managed to maintain the lead throughout the event even after a mediocre final round. But Morikawa seemed to be happy with the way he progressed as he won hefty prize money.

In awe of the sweet capture, fans did not hold back from praising and teasing Morikawa at the same time. While some acknowledged his humility, some resonated used the chance to draw similarities between him and themselves. However, none dare to state they could shoot 65.
