However, team Woods were in the limelight as Tiger Woods made his comeback after the solo car crash. He competed in this event with his son Charlie Woods and finished runners-up. 

Meanwhile, John Daly is also one of the most fan-favorite golfers. Team Daly obliterated the field and won the event with a record score of -27. Furthermore, John Daly opened up about the victory and also had a say about Charlie Woods. So let us see what exactly he has said.

John Daly opens up about Charlie Woods 

Team Daly won the 2021 PNC Championship as team Woods finished runners-up. Meanwhile, the 12-year-old Tiger Woods‘ son Charlie Woods impressed everyone with his golfing skills. Hence, everyone believes Charlie is going to be the next big thing in golf.

John Daly gave an interview to Full Send Podcast. And there, a host asked him what does he think of Charlie Woods as most of the time they only get to see his incredible shots on social media. “All I am telling you about him is if Charlie can hit it as solid as my son in six years, then god bless him,” said Daly.  

Moreover, Charlie is currently just 12-year-old while John Daly’s son is around 18. Furthermore, Charlie is already a solid player off the tee, but maintaining it throughout is going to be a tremendous challenge. Hence, Daly believes if he can hit solid as his son John Daly II, then he will be a great golfer for sure. 

Meanwhile, Charlie Woods’ putting and iron play are impeccable, and it’s just that he struggles with consistency sometimes. However, if he continues to put in some hard work, then no one can stop this kid from becoming a sensation.
