Players who came into the FedExCup playoffs were aware that not all of them will be making it to the season-ending Tour Championship. Some were eliminated after the Northern Trust, and some missed the cut after the BMW Championship. Despite how a player might have performed previously, the format and game remain unpredictable. This month, Shane Lowry was one of the many who did not qualify for the Tour Championship. However, he is excited about the upcoming Ryder Cup. In a recent interview, Lowry spoke about the Caves Valley Golf Club sharing his experience.

Did Shane Lowry like the BMW Championship venue?
During his interview, Lowry spoke about the course as “pretty straightforward” and “easy”, complete with many birdie chances.

Lowry, however, wasn’t a fan, labeling it as frustrating. “To be honest, I don’t really like golf courses like this. 21-under leading after three rounds, it’s kinda hard to get yourself going. You feel like your playing nine holes in even par”. He added that one feels like they are reversing down the leaderboard, which they are. As per Lowry, it’s the golf course one needs to play “everything pretty solid” in, along with a lot of putts.
Fans seemed to have their own opinions, many stating that maybe Lowry should be the one who plays better. Mostly everyone disagreed in the comments section, saying that everyone ends up playing the same course at the end of the day.

While Lowry finished with a seven-under 65, his strong finish didn’t earn him a Tour Championship spot. However, he is looking to play the Ryder Cup with his team.
