Every player who competes on the professional tour tries to win as many major championships as possible. And a few of them want to hunt Jack Nicklaus’ record, or at least chase Tiger Woods. Brooks Koepka is one of them. However, winning a major championship title is not an easy thing in any sport, especially in golf, given the nature of the game. 

Brooks Koepka is one of the more prominent golfers on the PGA Tour. And the 31-year-old has won four major championship titles in his career so far. Meanwhile, Jack Nicklaus has the most major wins with 18, while Tiger Woods is next to him at 15. Meanwhile, Koepka recently said something about Tiger’s major record. “I don’t see any reason that can stop me” – Brooks Koepka

Recently, Brooks Koepka gave an interview with Golf Digest, where he discussed various aspects and topics. Moreover, he even talked about Tiger and Jack’s major titles and said that he thinks he can catch up with Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus on this aspect.

“In my mind, I’m going to catch him on majors. I believe that. I don’t see any reason that can stop me,” said Koepka. “I’m 31. I have another 14 years left. If I win one a year, I got Jack. People misconstrue that as being cocky. No, that’s just my belief. If I don’t have that belief, I shouldn’t be out there.”

Furthermore, he continued, “If you don’t think you can win, why the hell are you teeing it up? Yeah, I’m just going for second place this week. There’s a lot of that on tour. Even elite players are very happy with that. Second? Sports are made to have a winner and a loser. You’re one or the other.”

Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka currently has four major championship titles. He is also known as a major championship specialist because of his impeccable record in major events. Brooks has had 15 top-10s in majors since 2015, which shows his incredible consistency in important events.
