There was no way one could listen to anything other than the noise from the crowd. However, a similar thing happened today as Carlos Ortiz made an ace on the 16th.

Carlos Ortiz makes a hole-in-one on the 16th hole at WM Phoenix Open
The Mexican golfer Carlos Ortiz made an ace on the iconic par-3 16th hole in the final round. Meanwhile, this was the second hole-in-one of the week on the 16th, which is probably the loudest hole in the entire golfing world.

Ortiz stood on the tee with a score of -5 and was T-38 thru 6. Hence, there weren’t many expectations from him. But Carlos flushed his 9-iron with a perfect pin line. The ball landed on the green and rolled into the hole, after which the fans once again went absolutely berserk, and they started the beer shower once again.

The atmosphere became electric as fans once again threw their beer cans on the green. Meanwhile, a few people criticized this behavior while others came in support. But one thing everyone agrees about is that no other event or hole in the entire golfing world can pull off this kind of atmosphere.

Notably, Ortiz is -9 thru 8 with another eagle on the par-4 17th hole. Moreover, he getting some incredible momentum and will be aiming for a top-10 or at least a top-5 finish. Meanwhile, Sahith Theegala currently leads the event with a score of -14, while Brooks Koepka and Scottie Scheffler are right behind him with a score of -13 thru 2.
