We all know Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer of all time. He has won 82 PGA Tours and has bagged 15 major championships in his career so far. But apart from these wins, he has done something that has brought popularity and money into the game. Tiger is credited for revolutionizing golf with his insane golfing skills and athleticism. 

Since he was a child prodigy, Tiger started making headlines at an early age. Notably, Tiger Woods was a well-known name, at least in the golfing world, even before he became a professional golfer. And after turning pro, he became a global athlete and created plenty of records.

After making his debut in 1996, Tiger Woods took the world of golf by storm. He created and broke numerous records on the PGA Tour and soon became a well-reputed name across the world. Tiger has some incredible stats which are unfathomable for any other player. But here’s one you might have trouble believing.

No Laying Up, one of the most well-known social media accounts in the sport, tweeted this stat. On April 8th, 2001, which is around five years from his debut, Tiger was a champion of the following events- Masters, PGA Championship, Open Championship, U.S. Open, Players Championship, WGC-NEC twice, Bay Hill twice, Memorial twice, and Canadian Open.

He won all these prominent events in the first five years of his career. While winning even one of these events is an extraordinary achievement for golfers, Tiger, with his incredible golfing skills, won all these events in just the first five years of his career. Hence, this shows the dominance Tiger Woods had, especially in the early days of his career. 

Currently, Tiger is recovering from a solo car crash that occurred in February 2021. Notably, even though he has recovered, he still needs a bit of strength in his right leg before making a comeback on the PGA Tour.
