The 2021 PNC Championship had a captivating start, with team Cink leading with a score of -13. However, there are plenty of players who are just three to four strokes behind them. Hence, we are all set for a cliffhanger of a Sunday finish. The star attraction of the event, team Woods, started off on a positive note as they carded 62.

Meanwhile, team Daly, team Thomas, team Singh, and others had an excellent start as well. So there are around 14 teams in contention going into the final round on Sunday. Last year, team Thomas won this event as they finished with a score of -25. Team Singh was right behind them, but sadly, they fell short by just a stroke.

However, even this year, both these teams are in contention and will be hopeful of a strong finish on Sunday. But what do winners of this 2021 PNC Championship get? What is the prize money purse for this event? Let’s find out.

2021 PNC Championship prize money

The PNC Championship is a family event where father-son/father-daughter team up and compete. However, only the major championship winners or The Players Championship winners are eligible to compete. PNC Championship is an unofficial money event sanctioned by the PGA Tour. Hence, they play this event in December, which is off-season on the PGA Tour.

This year, the 2021 PNC Championship purse is set for $1.085 million. However, the winner’s payout isn’t the standard 18 percent, according to the PGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart.

So the winner’s share from the $1.085 million is $200,000. The winning team will receive a total of $200,000 after the two-round scramble event. Since, there is no cut in this event, even the last-placed team will receive around $40,000, which isn’t too bad.
