The world no.1 spot is seeing a change after every week, but the change is only limited between Jon Rahm and Dustin Johnson. DJ had lost his top spot to Jon Rahm after the U.S. Open. But approximately a month later, after the Scottish open, Rahm lost his top spot to DJ.

But once again, as it came down, Jon Rahm finished his tournament ahead of DJ and recaptured the top spot for himself, and Johnson has been pushed down to second place. However, the champion golfer of the year, Collin Morikawa, made progress of one rank. He climbed to 3rd position and pushed Justin Thomas to fourth.
