Pro boxer and MMA fighter, Claressa Shields has clapped back at the internet trolls. The boxing legend made a switch to mixed martial arts this year and recently fought in her second professional MMA fight. She faced Abigail Montes at PFL 10 and suffered her first professional defeat, losing by a split decision.

After the loss, lots of people trolled the multiple-time boxing champion for her performance. Before the fight, she was involved in an online spat with a few fans. That led to Shields making her Twitter account private for some time. She recently took to the social media platform again to clap back at the internet trolls. In her recent post, she wrote, “Y’all take social media serious, I take my legacy serious. We are not the same.”

Shields is right now preparing for her return to the boxing ring. She will defend her WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring female middleweight titles against Ema Kozin on December 11, 2021.

Claressa Shields doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind

The two-time Olympic gold medalist has never shied away from speaking her mind. Be it taking on people on social media, or having a go at Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, she is always ready to go.

Shields and Paul have had a go at each other several times. After Montes handed her first loss, ‘The Problem Child’ took to Twitter to call her a loser.

However, Shields recently challenged him to a sparring session, and even bet $100,000. She said, I got 100,000$ of my own money I’ll put up that Jake Paul can’t beat me in sparring! That’s on me! Let alone a fight! @JLeonLove tell ya mans I said what’s up! I fight December 11th, he fight the 18th after that we can spar 6 rounds! Best 4 out of 6 rounds! If it last all 6.”

The boxer even had a huge Twitter spat with multiple people before her fight against Montes. After the MMA community started going after her, she made her account private.

Claressa Shields has a huge fight coming up right now, and can’t be worried about what people say about her. She is currently unbeaten in her boxing career and would look to continue her dominant run.
