Following a month of waiting for Grand Theft Auto fans around the world, the Remastered Trilogy has finally dropped. The Definitive Edition of the iconic franchise features three of the most popular titles of the series including Vice City and San Andreas. With improved visuals, controls and gameplay, fans can experience some rich crime storytelling in an entirely experience.
However, it seems like the game has had a troubled launch and PC players have had to face some issues. With fans already having a problem with the game not releasing on Steam, a launch like this is something Rockstar Games definitely didn’t want.

Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy locked on Rockstar Games launcher
Many players have already began their single player experience with Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition. This includes players on consoles like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and even the Nintendo Switch. However, many PC players have reported that the game’s still locked on the Rockstar Games Launcher even though the release time has gone past.
Many players have spent around $60 to download these remastered titles. Leaked footage of the Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy suggests that the developers have done a fantastic job at improving the title without removing the games’ essence. However, it seems like they have made a major error in releasing this game on the Rockstar Games Launcher instead of the more safe options like Steam and Epic Games.
Anybody knows how to download the GTA Trilogy games from the Rockstar Games Launcher?
It's past the release time & they're still locked… 🤔

Was releasing the game on Rocket Launcher a bad idea?
The franchise’s community had a disappointing reaction when the developers announced that it will arrive on the Rockstar Games Launcher. The previous titles of the series like Grand Theft Auto V was widely available on Steam. Other than that, for a while, players could even download the game for free through Epic Games. However, the Rocket Games Launcher provided some negatives compared to the consoles as it didn’t allow players to preload the game before it launched.

To make matters worse, even after the launch, players can’t load the game at all. Some have reported that it loaded after restarting the launcher, and this method might help. However, it’s fair to say that the launch has definitely caused a sour taste in the mouth’s of some players.
