The Pakistan Cricket Board authorities have confirmed their interest in making India as a home venue for all their matches instead of the UAE.

Pakistan, although having convinced Zimbabwe on a short limited overs tour this month, haven’t hosted an international game since the 2009 Lahore terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team’s bus.

The PCB chief, Shaharyar Khan, has supposedly explained the scenario and expressed his interest in playing in India and stated that this procedure would also be ‘cost effective’. He is also known to have confirmed the doubtful full-length Indian tour of the UAE in December this year.

India is yet to play Pakistan in a test match since the 2008 Mumbai attacks, but if and when this happens, the scenario would be good for the cricketing ties between these Asian giants.

On the other hand, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka earlier offered to host the Pakistan Home games.
