Packers RB Aaron Jones Fined an amount of $10,527 for Taunting Byron Jones

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was seen waving goodbye to Dallas Cowboys cornerback?Byron Jones?on the way into the end zone on one of his touchdown runs during their encounter on Monday.

Following the incident, the NFL decided to take action against Jones for “taunting/unsportsmanlike conduct.” The league confirmed on Wednesday that he will be fined an amount of $10,257.

“I can’t say it was worth it, but the picture is a dope picture,” Jones was quoted as saying by ESPN after being fined. “I can’t argue with that. I’m going to have that blown up one day in my house. I definitely got a nice picture out of it, but it hurts my pocket a little bit. I want that money.”

“Throughout the game it gets chippy, and I’m not a guy who starts talking trash,” he said. “But once you start talking trash to me, I usually don’t stop. I’m going to let you know when I make a play.”

During the match, Jones threw one of the touchdown balls into the stands where his twin brother Alvin, along with 30 other family members, was known to be watching the match.

Alvin was himself a former NFL player, who played as a linebacker for Baltimore Ravens?linebacker. Jones felt that he could have been fined for throwing the ball into the stands.

“They do fine you for throwing the ball (into the stands) and I was surprised I didn’t get fined for that,” Jones said.

Putting aside the moment which was declared as “unsportsmanlike”, Jones, who is now a three year pro, had a good game on Sunday when he ran for 107 yards, scored four touchdowns and caught seven passes for 75 yards helping his team to a 34-24 win at Dallas. The Packers will now face Oakland Raiders in the coming week.
